TRANSPARENT VILLA

The private residence is situated next to the “Squeezed villa”. It is necessary to specify the position of the house to describe the project.
The idea that drives the disegn is to create spaces pervious to light as a reaction to the decline of the urban matrix. The master plan is an intense experience of going through space, green and sun. The position of the volumes divides the plot in three areas while the intertwining of curved, oblique and straight paths leads the movement of the body.
Walls, floors and cielings are flooded by different kinds of light. The proportions ensue from the golden rate.
This project attempts to explore the multiple meaning of transparency.
