SPETTRO

The concept of Spettro has been inspired by “The Theory of Colors” written by J.W. Goethe in 1810. The versatility is one of its main features. Drawers, recesses and shelves make it adabtable to offices, houses and retails. This work embodies lightness and solidity gathering a strong material, as walnut, with the elegance and the elasticity of its shape.

Hybrid geometric figures which follow the “golden ratio” generate a unique object. The name Spettro suggests a connection among design, music and science. Spettro is an imaginary geometry for the color and it is voluntarily presented in antithesis with its genesis. The color is set against the monochrome in order to go beyond the visible and leave room for human perception.
